Historically, this is where many Everest mountaineers have stayed over the years. Tonight we’ll enjoy a light-hearted Meet & Greet at our team welcome dinner to kick off our adventure. Settle in and relax — we’ll be here acclimating and recovering from jet lag for the next couple of days.

Day 3: Lukla via Plane @ 9,383'
Today we say farewell to Kathmandu and welcome Lukla! Our flight to Lukla is aboard a fixed‑wing plane; the renowned runway is one of the shortest, highest‑elevation, and most treacherous in the world, so the approach to Lukla is an adventure in and of itself! The village sits at 9,383 feet, so after arrival we’ll check into our teahouse and spend time acclimatizing. While many trekkers push on immediately, we’ll remain in Lukla to explore the village on foot and take part in a one‑hour workshop focused on Being Outside. We’ll use this session to mentally ready ourselves for the next 14 days in The Great Outdoors!
