BE 4 Change
What it is!
BE 4 Change is a charity founded and operated by BELAY EXPEDITIONS. Each year BE strives to provide 3-day, 2-night journeys to foster youth residing in the states of Colorado and Utah. These journeys takes place in the high 14,000’ mountains of Colorado and in the deep red rock canyons of Utah.
The charity was born out of Belay’s belief that mountains change lives; recalling a specific experience when she was 23 that put her on a positive and direct path toward mountain guiding.
BE 4 Change serves foster youth because all children deserve equal opportunity to experience life-changing recreation and foster youth are often overlooked and underserved population.
Whether the youth are contemplating the military, higher education, AmericaCorps, a gap year full of travel, or entrepreneurship post-highschool, Belay has dabbled in each and believes that she can be a positive resource for the youth during their time on the mountain or in the canyon.

Although BELAY EXPEDITIONS provides gear and guides for the journeys, the BE 4 Change program is fully funded by personal donations! And to those who donate, we and the youth thank you!
