Welcome to Utah! Land of brilliant red rock canyons! Belay has scoured Capital Reef in search of the best in the park and if you have one day, she’ll bring you to her favorite! Lunch, snacks, beverages, and hiking equipment included!

• Miles = 5.6

• Required Skill Level = Novice

• Exertion Level = Easy to Moderate

• Beginning & Ending Location = Torrey, UT

• Temperatures = High of 80 / Low of 40

• Must be booked one week in advance.

     5. Submit the non-refundable $250 deposit. This deposit is applied to the overall balance.

     6. After BE receives your deposit, we will email you your preferred payment plan! No worries, there’s no interest or added fees. BE Simple!

ITINERARY:

Meet BE in Torrey, UT at 8:00am for coffee! There, we’ll sip coffee, fill out some forms, and gather our gear and food! Afterward, we have a 10 minute drive to our trailhead. Enjoy the drive along the drive, they are to die for! Once at the trailhead, we’ll begin our 5.6 mile journey down and into our slot canyon, taking many breaks along the way for snacks, rest, lunch, pictures, and pure enjoyment! Our canyon is AWESOME - full of water, waterfalls, and narrow meandering canyons so expect adventurous yet leisure time. We’ll take time to feel the sun on our faces. We imagine we’ll be back to our vehicles mid-afternoon!

• Shirt (long-sleeve or tank)

• Rain jacket (BE will provide an emergency poncho)

DO NOT BRING:

• Pedometers or any device that measures distance.

LOGISTICS:

Meet BE in Torrey at 8:00am! Flying? Provo is the nearest airport at two hours away. Salt Lake City is the nearest major airport at 3.5 hours away. BE recommends booking a return flight for the day after our hike.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:

• Journeyers who cancel their journey 90+ days before the start date will be refunded the total amount minus processing fees and the $250 non-refundable deposit.

• Journeyers who cancel their journey 30 to 90 days before the start state will be refunded half the total amount minus processing fees.

• Journeyers who cancel their journey less than 30 days before the start date will not be refunded.

• Participants who choose to leave an active journey for any reason are not entitled to a refund. Due to the nature and heavy costs of operating permits, BE must adhere to the above itinerary and refund policy.
