OVERVIEW: Saunter through the heart of Utah’s canyons for seven days with BE. Together, we’ll hike through sheer red rock cliffs soaring thousands of feet high, ford rivers, squeeze through slot canyons, stand upon natural arches, downclimb waterfalls, soak up awe-inspiring vistas, and sleep peacefully under our nation’s darkest skies. This journey is perfection in too many ways and BE is beyond stoked to experience it with you. This journey includes four nights camping and two nights in celebratory hotels, all meals at camp and on trail, and a shuttle to-and-from the park! Rental gear can be included at checkout. ITINERARY:

Day 1: Sunday - Arrival

Driving? Meet BE in Salt Lake City, Utah at 4:00pm! Flying? BE can pick you up at the airport by 3:00pm! Once at our Salt Lake City hotel, we’ll talk journey logistics, prep our gear, and have a team welcome dinner! Welcome to Utah, where life is lived elevated! Included meals = Dinner. Accommodations = Hotel. Miles = 0.

Day 2: Monday - Boots to Ground

GOOD morning! Today is boots to ground! After breakfast and a 3.5 hour drive to southeastern Utah, we’ll being our first hike that will take us up and onto the canyons! We’ll also be carrying packs at their heaviest weights so today our miles are low. Once at camp, we’ll eat dinner, sip some tea, and drift to sleep! Welcome to Belay’s favorite favorite area in southern Utah! Included meals = Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner. Accommodations = Tent. Miles = 1.

Day 3: Tuesday - Panoramic Vistas & Cassidy Arch

Good leisure morning! Sleep in, sip your coffee leisurely, soak up the views, and then we’ll pack up. Today, we make our way to a natural arch. One frequently visited by Butch Cassidy. Tonight, we sleep with panoramic views. Included meals = Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner. Accommodations = Tent. Miles = 5.

Day 4: Wednesday - Grand Wash & River Ford

Good morning! Today we make our way into the backcountry as we saunter through the Grand Wash, ford a river, and watch the Navajo sandstone domes turn to sheer red Wingate cliffs! When we reach the winding narrows, we’ll know we’re close to camp! Included meals = Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner. Accommodations = Tent. Miles = 9.

Day 5: Thursday: Sheer Red Cliffs & Panoramic Vistas

Today is our last full day on trail and our miles will take us through sheer red rock Wingate cliffs, on top of Chimney Rock for lunch, and down to Sulphur Creek for camp. Included meals = Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner. Accommodations = Tent. Miles = 6.

Day 6: Friday - Slot Canyons & Waterfalls

Good happy morning! Today is our last day on trail and it finds us feeling on top of the world as we have a mega fun day in front of us! All day will be spent in the water - navigating rushing cascades, waterfalls, and slot canyons! Right when we’ve had enough water, it’s time for our Capitol Reef Resort! Which is where we’ll celebrate with a lovely dinner, warm shower, and cozy bed! Welcome to the Good Life! Included Meals = Breakfast & Lunch. Accommodations = Resort. Miles = 4.

Day 7: Saturday - Departure

Sadly it’s our last morning in canyon country but before we leave, we’ll treat ourselves to homemade pie. We checkout at 11:00am so be sure to book a flight no earlier than 5:00pm. • Flying? Fly into Salt Lake International Airport. Salt Lake City International Airport is the nearest major airport at 3.5 hours away.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:

• Journeyers who cancel their journey 90+ days before the start date will be refunded the total amount minus processing fees and the $500 non-refundable deposit.

• Journeyers who cancel their journey 30 to 90 days before the start state will be refunded half the total amount minus processing fees.

• Journeyers who cancel their journey less than 30 days before the start date will not be refunded.

• Participants who choose to leave an active journey for any reason are not entitled to a refund. Due to the nature and heavy costs of operating permits, BE must adhere to the above itinerary and refund policy.

FINE PRINT:
