Join Belay this October for her final hike in Capitol Reef National Park! Just to clarify, Belay isn’t leaving Capitol Reef! Halls Creek Narrows is simply the last route that Belay must hike before she’s done every single trail and route in the park! So join us for three days as we explore these red rock canyons together for the first time! Bonus, Halls Creek Narrows is widely regarded as the most stunning canyon not only in the park but also throughout the entire Southwest!
This journey features three days of hiking, two nights camping, and two nights at Capitol Reef Resort. All meals on the trail are included, along with a welcome dinner. You can also add rental gear and airport shuttle service when booking.

Day 1: Thursday - Arrival & Resort
Flying? We can pick you up at the Salt Lake City airport at noon! Driving? Meet us at Capitol Reef Resort in Torrey, UT at 4:00 PM! At the resort, we’ll discuss our journey through Halls Creek Narrows, prepare our gear, and enjoy a welcome dinner! Welcome to Utah, where life is lived elevated! Included meals = Dinner. Accommodations = Resort. Miles = 0.
Day 2: Friday - Halls Creek Wash & Waterpocket Fold
Good morning! Today we start our hike! After breakfast and a 2-hour drive to the trailhead, we'll walk through Halls Creek Wash and soak up stellar views of Capitol Reef’s Waterpocket Fold! Once we reach camp by the water, we'll have a nutritious dinner, relax with some tea, and drift to sleep. Welcome to Belay's favorite park in the U.S.! Included meals = Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner. Accommodations = Tent. Miles = 7.
Day 3: Saturday - Halls Creek Narrows
Good morning! Enjoy a slow start, sip your coffee, and soak up the sun! Today, we’ll leave our heavy gear behind and enter into Halls Creek Narrows with just our day packs. After 3-4 miles of wading through water and narrow canyons, we’ll return to camp for dinner, tea, and another restful night. Included meals = Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner. Accommodations = Tent. Miles = 7.
Day 4: Sunday - Brimhall Arch & Resort
Good morning! It's our final morning in the canyons, and we'll make the most of it! After coffee, breakfast, and a relaxed packing up, we'll begin our hike out with a stop at Brimhall Double Arch. After a chilly swim beneath the arch, we'll return to Capitol Reef Resort for a celebratory dinner and a soak in the hot tub! Congratulations on spending two nights in the most beautiful canyon in canyon country! Included meals = Breakfast & Lunch. Accommodations = Resort. Miles = 9.
Day 5: Monday: Departure
It’s departure day, but before we go, we’ll enjoy fresh homemade pie from the park's federally protected orchards. We check out of our resort at 11:00 AM, so if you're flying out, book a flight no earlier than 5:00 PM. Thank you for living three days in the canyons and exploring Halls Creek Narrows with Belay! Until next time...Included meals = Breakfast & Lunch. Accommodations = N/A. Miles =0.

Driving? Meet BE at Capitol Reef Resort at 4:00pm on Thursday!

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:
Journeyers who cancel their journey 90+ days before the start date will be refunded the total amount minus processing fees and the $500 non-refundable deposit.
Journeyers who cancel their journey 30 to 90 days before the start state will be refunded half the total amount minus processing fees.
Journeyers who cancel their journey less than 30 days before the start date will not be refunded.
Participants who choose to leave an active journey for any reason are not entitled to a refund. Due to the nature and heavy costs of operating permits, BE must adhere to the above itinerary and refund policy.
