On this 4-day journey, you will:
Hike one day up a 14,000’ peak!
Whitewater kayak one day on the Arkansas River (class 1, 2, & 3)!
Mountain bike the Colorado Trail en route to our mountain and river!
Sleep two nights in The Great Outdoors!
Restore & celebrate one night in a hot springs resort!

Exertion Level = Moderate
Temperatures = High’s in the 80’s / Lows in the 40’s

INTINERAY:
Day 1: Arrival
Festivities kick off at 8:00am in Salida, CO! Meet BE there for coffee, introductions, itinerary overview, gear prep, and food distribution! Afterward, we’ll hop on our mountain bikes and head to camp! Tomorrow, we climb our famed fourteener! Meals included = Lunch & Dinner. Accommodations = Tent. Miles = 15.
Day 2: Upward-Bound
Good early alpine morning! After coffee and breakfast, we’ll ascend of our 14r! Congratulations on standing atop one of Colorado’s highest mountains! Welcome to The High Life! After summit celebrations, we’ll hike our way back down to camp! Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner. Accommodations = Tent. Miles = 8.
Day 3: River-Bound!
Good morning! Let’s sip our coffee and pack up camp! Today we’re headed down the valley to the Arkansas River to meet our kayak guides and ride our section of class 1, 2, & 3 rapids! Welcome to The Good Life! Cold and wet? Let’s go soak in the hot springs at our hot springs resort! Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch. Accommodations = Resort. Miles = 15.
Day 4: Departure
All good things must come to an end but not before we soak in the hot springs one last time! Post-soak, coffee, and breakfast we’ll part ways! Driving back to Denver International Airport with BE? It’s a 3-hour drive so be sure to book your flight for no earlier than 4:00pm! Until next time, friends! And thank you for exploring Colorado the right way with us! Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:
Journeyers who cancel their journey 90+ days before the start date will be refunded the total amount minus processing fees and the $500 non-refundable deposit.
Journeyers who cancel their journey 30 to 90 days before the start state will be refunded half the total amount minus processing fees.
Journeyers who cancel their journey less than 30 days before the start date will not be refunded.
Participants who choose to leave an active journey for any reason are not entitled to a refund. Due to the nature and heavy costs of operating permits, BE must adhere to the above itinerary and refund policy.
