ITINERARY:
Day 1: Friday - Reunited At Last!
Flying in? BELAY EXPEDITIONS will pick you and your friends up by noon at Montrose Regional Airport! Driving? Meet us in Silverton at 2:00 PM! Once we’re all together in Silverton, we’ll talk about our trip, get our gear ready, and head to the mountains and our first campsite by an alpine lake!
Included meals = Lunch & Dinner. Accommodations = Tent. Miles = 2.
Day 2: Saturday - Alpine Lakes & Handies Peak Summit!
Good morning! Enjoy your coffee, soak in the sun, and chat with friends! Today, we’ll hike over a pass to Sloan Lake, the most photographed lake in the country. After we set up camp, you can take an optional hike to Handies Peak Summit, 1.5 miles to reach 14,000 feet. Tonight, we’ll relax at our quiet camp.
Included meals = Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner. Accommodations = Tent. Miles = ~6
Day 3: Sunday - Eastbound, Down, & Hot Springs!
Good morning, ladies! It’s hard to believe today is our last day in the Colorado mountains! After a relaxing morning at our cozy camp by Sloan Lake, we’ll hike over one more pass to get back to our car. Tonight, we’ll relax and celebrate friendship and our adventure at a hot springs resort. It’s the perfect way to end our perfect mountain getaway!
Included meals = Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner. Accommodations = Resort. Miles = ~6.
Day 4: Monday - Adios Amigos!
Sadly, it’s our last morning of our Girls Weekend Getaway. Before we leave, we’ll enjoy the hot springs one last time! We check out of our resort at 11:00 am, so please book a flight from Montrose no earlier than 3:00 pm. From this BE girl to you, thank you for the best girls weekend! I needed this!

After placing your deposit, BELAY EXPEDITIONS will email you a confirmation plus send monthly updates to get ready for your Girls Weekend Getaway. These updates will include a training plan, travel info, gear and clothing lists, dietary needs, and more!
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:
Journeyers who cancel their journey 90+ days before the start date will be refunded the total amount minus processing fees and the $250 non-refundable deposit.
Journeyers who cancel their journey 30 to 90 days before the start state will be refunded half the total amount minus processing fees.
Journeyers who cancel their journey less than 30 days before the start date will not be refunded.
Journeyers who choose to leave an active journey for any reason are not entitled to a refund.
